Food Ethic Project
Reflection
This project was an interdisciplinary effort between humanities and chemistry. I, humanities, we explored the food system in America and then developed our own food ethic. Because this project was interdisciplinary I learned so much more and got to connect it to the real world. Each group designed and cooked a meal for a group of 5 - 12 people and shared our learning and opinions while we served them. I think my group’s meal went extremely well. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it and all of the food was delicious. I made the dessert which was gluten-free lemon cookies with raspberry lemonade. My main takeaway from this project was that there is way more to food than what it seems. It has made me realize that everything really is connected in some way or another.
